"O'Sullivan's March", in Gaelic "Painseach/Pairneach/Páinneach na nUbh" ("The Basket of Eggs"),<br> "I Won’t be a Nun", "I'll Marry and I Won't Be a Nun", "The Highlander's March",<br> "The Rebel's March", "Rock and the/a Wee Pickle Tow", "Captain Collins" (Pa.),<br> "The Onehorned Cow", "The Retreat", "The Pretender's March", "Green Goose Fair",<br> "Glengariff", "Gogaí ó gog", "Montrose's March", "Scottish March", "Bob Ridley" (Pa.),<br> "The Bell Cow" (Pa.), "The Belling Tune" (Pa.) or "Fifer's March" (Pa.) is an Irish march<br> (3/4 or 6/8 time) in A Major or G Major. The parts are played AABB or AABBCCDDEEFF'GG'.<br> The tune, note the Chieftains, is recently played more often as a jig, but is said to have been<br> the march of the Kerry based O'Sullivan Clan. Tubridy’s 6/8 version corresponds to the last<br> parts of the Roche printing.<br> It was printed in the Roche Collection (1982), O’Neill's Waifs and Strays of Gaelic Melody (1922),<br> Tubridy's Irish Traditional Music, vol. 1 (1999) and Walsh's Session Tunes, vol. 2.<br> It was recorded by The Chieftains and others.<br>
